Though most of my time is now spent working as a music journalist and event promoter, I began performing in the SF music scene when I first moved to California in the late 80s. In 1995, I released a solo record called The Scattering Blue, which included guest performances by Jim Brunberg and Jeff Pehrson of Box Set, James Lee Harris Jr and Lilly Gobeil of Patchwork and Will Johnson. I was lucky enough to get some airplay on KFOG 104.5 FM for my song, "Clear." In 2002, I released Heat Change Vapor + Snow with my former band, Darrington, an acoustic quartet that included cellist Laura Loescher, guitarist Paul Boutin and percussionist Sage Cohen.
