Dreno started rapping at the age of 14
with his school friend now know as Tyrant,
His Senior School Music Teacher noticed Dreno's talent
and introduced him to a Southampon based Producer
where Dreno recorded his first track,
Dreno gave up the Rap Game until he was 18
where he started writing again and after a while
reacorded two bootleg tracks,
he then created his Myspace page (www.myspace.com/drenouk)
and uploaded the bootlegs,
A couple of Producers got in contact with Dreno
and gave him beats to write & record to
from then onwards he came across DJ Grind
who works on Express FM's RnG Show where Dreno
was Unsigned "Act Of The Week" with his track
Goin' All Out (Produced by P Double)
and interviewed him for a hour
DJ Grind then asked Dreno to feature on Portsmouths
version of "We Taking Over" also featuring
(Bliss, Drast, Walter Maffia, Ciah & Decyfa)
this track was played on the RnG Show & also featured
on DJ Grind's own mixtape,
After We Taking Over was released Dreno
recorded collabarations & carried on with his own work.
He performed these tracks & more at such places as
Bar Blu/ Tantrum, V Bar, Yates, & More,
from this Dreno made a name for him self in the
the local HipHop Community,
Dreno & Tyrant got back in contact with each other
and Dreno help Tyrant get into Portsmouths HipHop Scene,
the two emcee's then made there own crew (M16 Mafia)
which consisted of Dreno, Tyrant & SJL who was there singer,
the Group fell apart after a year through everyone wanting
to do there own thing and decided to go there seperate ways.
Dreno stuck with doing his music and in July 2007
got signed to an Inderpendent Label Stealf Records/EMG
this all happend through Myspace.
Dreno then Started working on his Debut Album
called "Break N Enter" where Tyrant & SJL also featured
with other artists such as (Drast, Sir Mic, Macc Nasty, Jay Blaze & More)
also featured Production from producers such as P Double, Nasty Boi
Stealf of (ARD Productions) also helped create Break N Enter,
while working on his debut album Dreno surported
the likes of DJ Clinton Sparks & was also ment to surport
G-Unit on the UK Tour until the tour was canceled for unknown
reasons.
Dreno completed his 20 track Album and it was
released on the 13th of October 2007 itunes, Amazon an many
more for download,
not long after the release of the album Stealf Records/EMG
was closed down & Dreno went back to being a unsigned artist
which didn't faze him,
he carried on with much progress, he managed to surport So Solid Crew
through the promoter of the show.
Dreno proceeded to work on collabrating with artists & Producers
he then got into creating his own beats and is the main
person behind Butter Scotch Beatz (www.soundclick.com/butterscotchbeatzproduction)
Dreno has also been nominated for a Goldern Plectrum Award
in the Urban Music Catorgory in the Portsmouth Music Awards,
Nasty Boi Production then asked Dreno to do 16 bar verse on
the HipHop/Rock Track Wanna Buck featuring DJ Grind,Madnessity,Drast,Dap-C
& My Endovour,a music video was created for this track which you
can see on this page and also Youtube this song was also
played on 1 Xtra thistrack is featured on Dreno's Newest Mixtape
"Back On The Streetz Vol.1" this is a 30 track mixtape
which consists of Exclusives, Remix's, Bootlegs & Classic Tracks,
featuring emcee's & Singers such as UltraFoxy, A.S.B.O,
MC Miracle, GMK, Parv & More
Dreno has formed a new crew A-Squad with MC Miracle
Macc Nasty & Parv,
