Maxmilien also known as "LayLow" is an artist who strives to be one of the best in the music industry. He has the potential, guidance and support to be the top solo artist and/or Entertainer of the Year.

In 1991, the Nashville native adopted the name "LayLow" as a tribute to one of today's music icons, LL Cool J. Max used the two "L's" where the name was conceived.

His creative career began in 1995 with the group "Goodfellas." In 1996, Max went on to form one of the most infamous groups in the southeast region "Guillotine."

The group created a buzz throughout the south which caught the eyes of several major record labels. Their first release, "Medieval Madness," was voted Murderdog Magazine's "Best Album of the Decade." After the long sophomore debut, "Death Sentence," the group decided to part ways due to irreconcilable differences. LayLow states, "People need to grow with their music. There is more to music than talking about murders, drugs and degrading women. Even though I touched on some of these subjects in the past, I feel there are more important issues to discuss."

Now we come to the history of "LayLow: Drama." While making the album, several events occur. Three of the artists featured on this album have been incarcerated. One of the women featured is now abusing drugs and now works as a prostitute for a local pimp in Memphis. Another performer was murdered in Chicago. Her actual voice is heard on the song "Raquel" which is dedicated in her honor. At this point during production, there was no other choice but to call the album "Drama" although there was another title selected.

This CD delivers a diverse, direct message the audience can relate to. With all the events mentioned earlier, there are also positive uplifting tracks such as "In Due Time," and "Maintain."

LayLow does not have particular artistic style or pattern. He can deliver potent rhymes by being crisp and clear with every word. His singing ability and harmonizing are portrayed on the tracks, "Raquel" and "U Don't Know Me." There are also three hidden tracks for your enjoyment. LayLow feels confident about his music and is now ready to show the world his unlimited talent.

LayLow has performed with artists such as Shawty Redd, the producer of Young Jeezy's Platinum album, " Let's Get IT: Thug Motivation 101." 8 Ball of 8 Ball & MJG, Too Short, Haystack and Scarface. He has also been featured on compilation albums with Pimp C of UGK, Project Pat, 3-6 Mafia, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Big Tymers, Juvenile and Alkapone.
