The Rhys Chatham piece "A Crimson Grail" for 200 guitars and 16 basses was performed outdoors at Lincoln Center. The CD album of the performance is now out on Nonesuch records! This was so much fun to be a part of, and a beautiful piece of music. Thank you to Rhys, the conductors, and everyone involved in the production.
Doug has also co-written a new song with Kendall Jane Meade of Mascott. "Please, Please, Please" is available on iTunes under "Mascott with Doug Gillard", and there is also a video for the song, which is featured on Magnetmag.com's page, "film at 11".

The documentary "AMERICAN CANNIBAL", which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival played in theatres in select cities. Features a soundtrack by Doug Gillard.
