Greetings People!

Double Jeopardy was founded in 2005. When Simba and Shaka went to the Chiemsee Reggae Festival they decided to build a soundsystem. But the name Double Jeopardy wasn't from shaka or Simba either. In the beginning of the Sound they played the sound with 2 youths named Klymax and Stock.

They named the sound Double Jeopardy! After 6 months selecta Klymax and Stock left the sound. But Simba and Shaka kept on spreading the Vibez. After many Gigs around STP and Vienna Double Jeopardy played the first Clash(Kings Tone Clash) on 17th of November in 2006! This was the birthday of the killing sound from STP. They took the Trophy against Irie Sound, Rootsrunna Sound and Bamboo Jah Sound.

In march 2007 Natty Simba went to Nairobi(Kenya) to do some social work with homeless children. He made some Connections in the Reggae Scene of Kenia and the Soundsystem Black Supremacy wanted Double Jeopardy to clash in Nairobi. So Shaka also flew to Nairobi to take the trophy to Austria. On the 2nd of June Double Jeopardy made history. As first sound from Austria they won a International Clash. Not only this also the first Intercontinental Clash! After the 2nd Victory they played a lot of gigs in Vienna and STP. On the 14th of December 2007 they had to defend the local trophy!(Kings Tone Clash) They clashed against sounds from all over the country- Highlight Sound from Linz, Hotsteppa Sound from Villach and Big Vibez from Tyrol. After a exciting Clash they took the Trophy again. This was the 3rd Victory for Double Jeopardy - and for sure not the last one!

In 2008 they joined the promoter team of "City of Bass", a regular Dance in the location Warehouse(STP), wich takes part every month.

Watch out for Double Jeopardy Movement, they are on a rising level!!
