The Don't Trigger Campaign is an international anti-gun campaign produced by Urban Concepts with funding contributions from the Home Office UK, Government Office for London, Mayor of London and other government agencies. It is supported by Families for Peace, Mothers Against Violence, MaMa, Mothers Against Guns nationwide and many other partner charities. Media partners for previous campaigns are MTV, BBC 1, Channel 4 and all national press.

The aim of the campaign is to highlight the negative impact that gun crime can have on individuals, families and society. The last campaign was seen by over 5 million people with videos aired on MTV Base, Channel U and The Box. News items were shown on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky. Don’t Trigger was included on Panorama special, Channel 4’s Guns Are Cool and MTV’s specially commissioned debate on gun crime. The campaign resouces are still being used by Amnesty International, Borough Councils, prison services and police services, youth clubs, documentaries etc.

Gone too soon

Guns and knives take peoples lives.

If you open your eyes you can realise

All the families who mourn and cry

All those innocent lives taken away

What can we do to save some more lives?

Why so soon and who’s to be blame

It’s a disgrace and a big shame

But why draw for it and it can be avoided.

That’s the big question from parents against crime.

It’s about time something is done before all the young lives are

Gone too soon!!!

My name is Serena graham I am ten years old. I’m the sister of Javarie crighton who was murdered on the 3rd Feb. 2007 on Southampton way Peckham. This is a tribute to parents and victims against crime.
