Brooklyn's own Doctor Ice is one of the original members of the legendary group U.T.F.O. In 1984 U.T.F.O. dropped the smash hit "Roxanne, Roxanne", which sold millions of copies, though select records claim it never sold that much. The group recorded 4 albums together that did well, charting some number one singles as well as the number 2 album in the country under Michael Jackson on the Billboard charts.

U.T.F.O.First Rap Group to perform at the (Apollo Theater).
First Rap Group to record Rap with Reggae (Pick up the Pace).
First Rap Group to record R&B love ballad (Fairytale Lover).
First Rap Group to perform a R & B ballad on (Soul Train).
First RAP/Break dance group.
First break dancers for a Rap Group (Whodini).
First breakers on a talk show (Phil Donahue).
The only recording artists to inspire over 25 answer records (Roxanne, Roxanne).
The third album LETHAL peaked on Billboard's R & B chart at number 2 (before Billboard created a Rap Chart).
After the 4th album, Doctor Ice went solo, signing a major deal with Jive Records, (Mic Stalker) spearheaded by Full Force. Doc has continued working around the world, touring and performing with Whodini. He had a single out entitled "Wish" with Ox, who made an appearance in the Hype Williams feature film, Belly.
With a few songs under his belt, he's preparing for the release of his next solo album titled "The Dr. Will See You Now". Until then, check out a few songs on the site and stay tuned for up coming performances and projects.
