SOME INSPIRATION FOR ALL OF YOU MUSICIANS:

Singer-songwriter Josh Kelley couldn't sing the praises of Napster any higher. He admittedly spammed e-mail users and routinely put his songs on Napster to garner attention for his music. And it worked. Kelley accidentally spammed his future A&R (talent) rep Eric Clinger at Hollywood Records. "That's how I got discovered," he has said. "I always produced my own songs. I would make MP3 files and go to the library to hook up to a really fast connection, go to Napster and e-mail random people and say, 'If you like so and so, try Josh Kelley. The Augusta, Georgia native has been tossing (or shall we say "putting") along the idea of becoming a rock stage since his mother purchased a guitar for him at the age of 11. He and his brother Charles formed the group Inside Blue and when Josh was 14, the band cut a five-song CD. It earned the attention of one major label as well as the James Brown. By the time he went to the University of Mississippi, he was torn about his future — he was an art major and a golf star. He admitted that being a musician was "always in the back of my mind. It's always been a love. I never tried to single one thing out."
