The Darkmoor Military started as an idea by the founding member EZ Flo & Jed2 to bring together the black community in Bradford. Several of the members then branched out into music mainly focusing on the UKG genre. As the UKG scene mutated into its darker sub genre Grime, the Military built up a reputation regionally for being a talented outfit by performing sets. the natural progression of the Military led them into the studio which ignited an ambition for several members of the collective to produce independently. Each member has a distinct style whether it be in the form of production or rhyme style. Influences vary from ealy 90's west coast hip hop to Baroque. Over the past few years each member has been honing their skills to the highest level with the intention of raising the bar for the Grime genre. Its now time for the collective to expose their music to a wider audience in the form of their Mix CD 'FIRST ASSAULT'.
