THE band listings we be up soon !! Me? Mostly a laid back guy that really has been into the music since waaaay backI currently remix, produce, and do the live performance thing, with leanings towards hard Psy lately also kinda a hardware phreek! Now, here comes the third person, non- personal stuff. The Black Audio Device originally formed in 1989 in the scenic college town of Bozeman, Montana, and was later recognized as being the originators of Bozeman's (if not the state!) "Modern Dance" scene. Starting with the desire to bring a taste of what he had heard and seen in Scotland and Europe, AKA Zandar began actively promoting the beat by organizing "raves" and developing the first techno/Industrial-themed show on KGLT 91.9 FM, one of the largest radio station in Montana. The fledgling "Black Audio Device" also provided the populace with quality music though it's CD-import sales, and eventually expanded to include Graphic Design and Digital Sound editing. After a limited run of "minor" successes in the mid 90's involving a few remixes for (no longer!) fledgling artists and a few "for promotion use only" remix companies, AKA Zandar decided to relocate his endeavors to the rain-sodden domain of Portland, Oregon. This was more in keeping with his newfound Anti-Solid precipitation policy, and (even more so!) in keeping with his native climate of Krebulak Minor. Today, the "Device" provides Studio and Mac-based production facilities, and DJ/Live performances throughout the greater PDX area. I've shitcanned the "graphic design solutions" aspect of the biz in favor of doing more artsy- fartsy things in order to pleasure my inner child(but I will toss out a flyer or image if asked nicely). Let's talk! Oh, and I really like cats, if that adds to the profile My last map died, so here's a new one for the Eye Candy fanatics!!!!!
