Let's see, where do I start? I started playing drums when I was 12 and heard Guns n' Roses and Run DMC for the first time. Shortly thereafter (and long before the whole mash up craze) I was blending "Mary Mary" with "Sweet Child O' Mine" via duel cassette player and creating local favorite hits amongst my peers with songs such as "Sweet Child O' Mary" and "My Adidas in The Jungle".

While creating pause/play mixtapes was one means of exploring my musical aspirations I was also taking drum lessons and learning both the theory of music and how to read it as well. I studied many genres of music including Jazz, Blues, Big Band, Rock and of course Hiphop. Hiphop I found to be, by far the one genre that gave me the most freedom to explore the things that I wanted to do musically and was the one genre that through the years spoke to me more than any of the others did.

It wasn't untill one day during a studio session with this rock/experimental band I was in, in 2000 that I came across my first set of turntables. Within a week of that studio session I quickly bought my first set of turntables and began creating beats and djing at clubs, bars and house parties throughout Queens, Manhattan and Long Island.

In 2005 I decided to move to the Bay Area to see what the west coast had to offer me. Since moving here I've become a manager at a local Ice Cream Store and started going to college to study Court Reporting. While music is first and formost in my life I have to eat. Being that music is the most important thing to me and I have trouble finding time do the things that I want to do i.e. making music, collaberating with musicians, djing at clubs I enlisted the help of my good friend Nick, whose eagerness to succeed in the music buisness and see me succeed go hand in hand.

Now with my manager (Nick) hopefully I'll be able to set up gigs and create music with other musicians to the point where I can quit my nine to five and create music full time while still taking night classes of course.
