MARK MAITLAND has quickly become one of the wave of fresh young DJ/Producer talent to emerge in the past 12 months. His productions have picked up support from a wide spectrum of the worlds biggest Djs. From CARL COX to MARCO V, MILES DYSON to D-NOX & BECKERS, FERGIE to The UTAH SAINTS. The Utah Saints have taken such a liking to Mark’s productions, that they’ve had him engineering & assisting on their new projects. Ranging from remixes for GIRLS ALOUD, LOSER’s on FINGER LICKING RECORDS, to BLACK SMOKE’s GLOBAL WARMING PROJECT, alongside other artists like TRENTEMOLLER. Mark has also been engineering the follow up single to SOMETHING GOOD 08.



Mark’s musical abilities have not gone unnoticed by others, he also closely produces along side ADAM SHERIDAN (CREAM & VANDIT), and RILEY & DURRANT (GALAXY NUBREED). With strong backing from Riley & Durrant, Mark was quickly signed to THE ELECTRIK PLAYGROUND Label. Releasing a stream of solo productions and remixes. Mark’s own ELEKTRIQA imprint runs as a sister project to NuBreed, co-run with label partner CHRISTIAN HOFF. This outlet sees an influx of fresh new experimental electronic music.



Mark has also has work featuring on Labels such as, DATA, PLASMAPOOL, SOUNDSTAGE, RELIC SILVER, 852, BERWICK STREET, & INTOXIKATE. Plus remixes for MAURO PICOTTO, CALVERTRON, TIMO GARCIA, JAUN KID and many more.



He began his DJ career with a residency at PROMISE (Newcastle), since then Mark has received a constant stream of bookings both nationally and internationally. Playing for the likes of GODSKITCHEN, GATECRASHER, GOODGREEF, & TIESTO’s IN SEARCH OF SUNRISE with ELECTRIK PLAYGROUND.



With a musical style that blends between techno, minimal and twisted electro, Mark’s has picked up a strong following from Dj’s, Producer and Clubbers alike. His sets are always fresh sounding and are at the forefront of electronic music. Tight, quick mixing and constant changes in direction and energy allow Mark to play a wide variety of music that keeps any crowd on their toes.



With the strength of backing the Mark has acquired recently from DJ’s, Producers & Promoter. The future looks to be very promising for this fast rising, and extremely talented DJ/PRODUCER.
