when it comes to promotions, djing or booking events, you may deal directly with me! as far as being a female in this male dominated industry, someone once told me "there will always be someone out there who is better than you & someone who isn't" (thank u nicky z!); so to stand out from the rest i strive to challenge & improve my skills, constantly meet new people & most importantly have fun. my nightlife has settled down unexpectedly but it couldnt have been @a more perfect time in my life. now-a-days instead of spending money on unnecessary things i'd rather spend time with my awesome family. i don't need a man to make me believe i deserve the best; nor do i depend on one to make me his number one priority cause honestly, he will never be mine. i am not a feminist. i support women who strive to make a difference in others & aren't afraid to share their individual talents/skills. i look forward to meeting knew faces, seeing new places & surrounding myself with open minded people. what do i love about dj'ing? @the club: when i throw in a classic from back in the day & then hear the crowd go "whooooa!"; or play a fresh, new joint & see that people can't help but bob their head to it! @earthbound radio or any other shindig: when someone hears the song im playing for the 1st time & has to know who it is (thats when i know i'm fullfilling my role as a dj). i don't consider myself an "underground" nor a "commercial" DJ. i enjoy playing both types of music so i try to rock the best of both worlds & bridge the gap between all genres of music. my taste in music grows as music today evolves so i hope to stay young @heart by not forgetting the classics i grew up with. i try my best to support those i am a fan of. some of my favorite artists today are locals from san diego & orange county, including: havana, miki vale, brawdcast, jeshno & the growing fam at earthbound radio. my experience with them in the past as well as today, inspire me to keep doin' what i love & assist me in defining my role as a DJ. thanks to stacks vinyl & earthbound radio, i have opportunities to share my love for djing & support the music behind it all. even though dj'ing provides some sort of income, its not the career i'm settling for. i have goals for what i want to accomplish & challenges to overcome; & during my free time i love cuddling up & spending quality time with my dearest family & life-long friends.
