Mafia Mike was engaged in music from the early school years. First known under few nicks like Opoponax, Kriss or Mike N he was making hip hop & trip hop. Remaining under polish jazz, herbie hencock and funk music from the ’70 influence, he started to produce music hesitated between nu jazz, lounge and house. He creasted some intersting projects:

Aquarium – the legendary project with the charismatic vocalist Mr. Hide. They recorded an album at Mafia Mike’s home studio and invited a lot of great musicians like: Novika, Dominique or Flasback Potiomkin.

Used 2 (aka Mafia Mike & Dominique): This project has taken a lot from modern electro style, what, with Mike’s fresh and innovative attitude to music and Dominique’s unusual voice, makes it very interesting.

Simultaneously, Mafia Mike cooperate with the most popular polish dj - Adamus. At the beginning of 2005 they decided to make a new project together – Wet Fingers, which aim is refreshing polish music by sampling old tracks and giving them a new modern electro- house sound.

This days Mafia Mike is one of most recognisable polish DJ and producer. He runs his show in the best dance/electronic radio: Planeta FM, wich you can hear in all the big cities in Poland. His sets are very fresh and full of differend styles but always consequent and full of good vibe and taste. He playes every weekend all over the world including Poland, England, Germany and USA. We can be sure that a lot of new interesting projects from Mafia Mike are comming soon!
