Morana

BIOGRAPHY
Morana Magzan was born in 1975. in Zagreb, Croatia and still living there, married, mother of two children.
Grew up on many music styles and never limited with it, but her first true contact with the electronic clubbing scene was in London, UK, where she lived for a few months in the late 90's. After returning in Zagreb again, started to partiing like a wild party animal in a small club - No.1, and with a little help of her DJ friend - DJ Active, resident DJ in that club, decided to give it a try behind the decks.
A few months later bought her first Numark turntables & mixer.soon came first gigs in No.1 club, playing vocal, soulful house. Suddenly she was playing all over Croatia, slowly changing her style to tribal/progressive, but continues to play house sets only in No.1.
2006. she became resident Dj on tracklists.ca, Canadian internet radio with her monthly show, which lasts for one year and till 2008. her sets could be heard on many radios - Night Clip@Clip FM-88.7 hosted by Lui Mazini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) on April 14th 2007. and January 26th 2008., enSonic.fm, stream-fm on-line radio, djsets.gr.
2007. finished Tuborg DJ Academy in Zagreb and started to play on CD players - Pioneer 800 Mk2.
She was always very fond of working with other female Djs, so in 2007. she joined Urban Divas agency runed by Slovenian DJ-ane Trick-C, playing for sometime along with her and another Slovenian DJ-ane Miss Housewife in Slovenia (Chanell 0, Ljubljana) and in Zagreb (Fanatic & Masters).
Viktoria Rebeka is another great DJ Lady that Morana has been working lately - in Slovenia and Croatia. Morana was also playing with Croatian DJ-anes Daemia (Bass-ic Instincts@Fanatic) and Kexie.
She would define her style now as minimal/minimal techno - strong, hard, but very groovy and danceable - the same she likes to listen and play, and of course, from time to time, still very progressive.
Morana presented her music - in Croatia: No.1 club Zagreb (resident DJ), Fanatic Zagreb (resident DJ), Masters Zagreb, Vertigo Jelsa, island of Hvar, Presidente, Monvi (MTV Valkana Beach), Extravaganza (Varazdin), Peskarija Sibenik, Opium Sibenik, The Room Cakovec, Aquarius club, island of Vis.
