Dj Gilligan, a national touring dj has been in the music scene for over 20yrs, where he has become one of Florida's fastest rising stars. For years gilligan has had a love for Electronic music. Having started off learning to play Vocal Breaks from 1 of his oldest friends "Dj Fressh", Gilligan is now spinning everything from Electro & Breaks to House & Hip-Hop and everything in between."Whatever keeps the girls dancing. Without them the club just wouldn't be the same" says gilligan Since his debut as a Dj in 2003, Gilligan knew that he needed to make a name for himself as a dj. He quickly learned what to do and dove head first in a local dj battle. Not knowing what to expect he kept his head down, took a deep breath and started to play. After the evening progressed he heard some great djs play. Thinking its over for him they called his name 2nd Place peoples choice. He was so blown away he used that to propel himself forwardAfter about a year, he started his own production company "Out There Productions" where he put on over 45 shows all across Florida. " I figured the best way to get my name known, is to throw a show with myself in the line-up but it definitely helps to have some of the best talent spinning in the shows too" says gilligan
Not being satisfied, he then started his own record label "Sporked Records" where he releases his own music as well as the music of some of the best of the best local talent. that, in his opinion needed to be heard After trying to find the happy medium between Funky Breaks, Nu-Skool & Electro. He has an unmatched way of combining his own tracks, along side some of todays biggest hits from domestic to imports.
Gilligan has his own unique way of bringing them together in perfect harmony while keeping the dance floor packed and the bass bins rockin.
Gilligan has become a well respected Dj, Event Promoter and Producer amongst his peers and has had the privilege of rubbing elbows with, learning from and not to mention playing along side some of those same producers and DJs he had listened to and admired for so long. He has now turned his passion towards track production and remixing tracks and has since released original music on Sporked Records and a few other labels. He is hoping to have his music on the walls of every record store across the world from the US to the UK. Not to mention having his tracks played in all the clubs by all the best DJs.



Highlights:
Gilligan has had the honor of being invited to play at Ultra Music Festival for the last 7 years
He was a guest Dj on a monthly radio show (91.5 fm-Orlando) for over 3 years
Has built and developed his own production company in 2003 (Out There Productions)
He created their own record label in 2008 (Sporked Records)
