Artist Background:



Rob (Frostbyte) started his musical career with studying classical Violin for 11 years privately. He performed for weddings and in churches and developed his sense of melody structure and sound through classical training. He has perfect pitch which is not something that can be taught, it is a "gift" or a curse depending on how you look at it. When he started producing he once again put to use his classical violin training and it shows through his use of very complex melodies in his songs. many songs containing more than 4 moving melodies playing at once.



General Info:



Frostbyte started out producing music with fruity loops 2.0 on a very old computer about 5 years ago. Over time, after completely enveloping himself in the electronic music scene, raving, playing around with DJing, and sharpening his skills, he is producing music that has a very clear and unique personality and moves his listeners. "trance music to me is a very clear expression of emotion and how the artist feels" says Rob (frostbyte), "The thing I love most about trance music, is that it allows the listener to choose what they take from it. It is beautiful, and full of life." Many artists have influenced Frostbyte's sound such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Robert Miles, Ferry Corsten, and many more, yet Frostbyte still holds on to a very unique sound that can only come from him.
