Felix got his first big break as a DJ in 1995 when, at the Cannes Film Festival, he played the parties of Jim Jarmush, Wim Wenders and Theo Angelopoulos. He went on to establish himself at club nights all over Paris before become resident DJ at Maxim's. His stints in charge of music direction for the runway shows of Eric Bergere and Paul & Joe added an extra dimension to his repertoire, giving him the chance to work in the milieu of fashion. After the considerable success of his Maxim's and Elite (Pschent) compilations, which would launch him on a global itinerary through London, Tokyo, New York, Moscow, Marrakech, and Berlin (where he shared top billing with Kevin Saunderson), Felix decided to focus on his own production. The creation of his own label, OUZZ PRODUCTIONS, posed many challenges for him to meet head-on, not least writing, composing, and singing. Now he's releasing his first single that he himself dubs electronic disco. When I was a child we didn't have a TV, so I always had my ear glued to my transistor radio. I've always listened to music, and during this time I was reared on disco. I subsequently moved on to more experimental and underground music styles. But when I started to compose my own music it was almost predestined that I would find myself turning to disco sounds.
