DJ Dose

Ez. My James Hazell 'aka' DJ Dose and i've been producing for about 3 years and mixing for about 4. started making beats on the Playstation for a laugh but discovered Reason and pretty much conversed from there. I entered a Hammer Records competition a while back to get an mp3 release but was quickly snapped up by the Hammer Records owner as an instant signing outside of the competition and got my first digital release. Was then discovered by a DJ called Sensa who is one of the owners of Dirty Needle Records, who spread word about my sudden presence in the scene which lead me to get in chats with another DJ called 'Jayline', who had also done the same and slowly i got around - Big ups to them two who beleived i was a possible big talent and stood by me. Was then first signed to Raw Records owned by the Hammer records owner for my first 12" release entitled Gunslinger and Deep Out (RAW005: OUT NOW - www.nu-urbanmusic.co.uk). Started getting more and more airplay on Planet DnB, Frequency FM and Cyndicut FM and that lead me to a number of new labels getting in touch and signing me. Now currently signed to 9 record labels and more in the pipeline and feel hard work is paying off. Getting tune support from the likes of Crissy Criss (BBC Radio 1Xtra), Logan D (Kool FM), Sly (Kool FM/ShadowDemon), Tantrum Desire (Technique Records), Crystal Clear (Playaz/Ganja) & DJ Smokesta (Kool FM/GNOTE RECS).
