Location:
Phoenix, Arizona, US

DJ
Genre:
Hip Hop / Rock / Turntablism
At the early age of 14, DJ Circle started spinning records with the vision of becoming one of the most successful club DJs. Having spent countless hours crafting and perfecting his skills, he is a versatile DJ who performs for a variety of crowds. Influences such as DJ Shadow, Z-Trip, Q-Bert, DJ Rectangle, and Bad Boy Bill have helped mold him into a DJ skilled in turntablism, party-rocking, and remixing/production. He has been making a name in the Arizona nightlife scene since early 2000, when he made his debut at Club411 in Tempe, Arizona. Since then he has played at all of the premier nightclubs in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe.

In 2002, when Circle started working with Power 92FM as both an intern and a DJ, his career went into overdrive. Earning his spot as the resident DJ of Buzz Nightclub in 2003, he played for 1,500-person crowds on a weekly basis. During his residency, he played alongside DJ Fashen and the rest of the Power 92 Mixers. Hip-hop artists such as DMX and Too Short would frequent his nights at the Buzz. After holding the residency for 3 years, Circle decided to expand his horizons and play all of the genres of music that he loved. From that point in 2006, he began working with Evening Entertainment Group (whose venues include Suede, Axis-Radius, Myst, and Sandbar) and took a residency at Suede Lounge in Old Town Scottsdale. While working with EEG, Circle has also held residencies at Pussy Cat Lounge, Cream, Dirty Pretty, W Hotel, and Zuma.

DJ Circle has also played in many other markets, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Mexico. He has played with acts such as DJ AM, DJ Rectangle, DJ Vice, Funk Master Flex, The Sugar Hill Gang, LMFAO, Snoop Dogg, and Kid Rock, just to name a few. His work ethic and passion for DJing drives him to play for as many markets and people as time will allow. In a feature article for 944 Magazine he quoted, "I really enjoy DJing for a crowd. It doesn't matter if I hate the music I'm playing, I just want people to have a great time."
