Chris Allen is a Texas based DJ, VJ, radio personality, producer, remixer, musician, & writer. Chris Allen currently spins at JR's, South Beach, Meteor and The MMC in Houston and at Halo in Bryan / College Station. His weekly 2-hour electronic and dance music internet radio show Groovelines airs for a global audience every Thursday a 3 pm cst at www.hypersonicradio.com. His weekly dance music column called Groovelines is aired every Saturday night on the electronic dance music mix-show Hypersonic on 101X in Austin. The written version of Groovelines can be read bi-weekly in print in the Montrose Star. There are currently 4 DJ Chris Allen remixes available for purchase at iTunes. Electric Universe by Jacinta, Day In TIme by Wild Jaam, and Shine by Jay Arseno. His remix of Guilty by Jay Arseno (featuring Jacinta) is due out in 2011. Chris Allen's debut single "F.Y.A.U" (on indi dance label Chunky Music) will be released in mid 2011 independently at iTunes and Amazon.com. Chris Allen has been a freelance writer since 2004 and has interviewed more than a handful of popular music celebrities and been published in several different Texas based magazines and websites. His dance music column Groovelines has been in print since 2003.
