Dj B-Mamba was born in Medellin, Colombia. Where at an early age his love for music started. It was from playing the drums to simply playing the piano. He was influenced by the biggest Djs and producers such as Carl Cox, Mauro Picotto, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Tenaglia just to mention a few. In 2000 he got his first turntables and started practicing and mixing divers’ genres such as techno, trance, hip hop and many more. He then moved to New Jersey in 2003. Where he spent over a year just practicing he’s mixing skills and learning more about electronic music industry.
In 2004 he moved to Miami where he got his first residence at Feeling’s café. Where he started building his name. A year after he got 2 more residence at Amika and Cafeteria which at the time were very two popular clubs at Miami Beach. In 2006 B.Mamba and two of his friends founded a management and promoting company by the name of True Sound. Shortly after True Sound received the residence at Nocturnal Friday nights in the glass room. Because of it’s fast growing success they received the terrace early hours which was never done before.
Therefore his career boomed and started to get more gigs. In July 2007 he released his first remix which was co-worked with Christian Falero for Armand Peña. The single was called “Party people” for record label Rhythm Freak (Armand Peña label). It was a big hit to his career. B.Mamba has held residencies at top venues such as Amika (south beach), Cafeteria (south beach), Indra (south beach), La Rumba (south beach), Feelings (coconut groove), Oxygen (coconut groove), Pawnshop (Downtown), Parkwest (downtown), Nocturnal (downtown). Now a day he is focusing in the studio for up coming remixes and “Running” with Christian Falero as well. He is now one of the most successful up and coming Dj/ Producer in Miami.
Dj B. Mamba has shared DJ booths with Danny Tenaglia, Mark Knight, Roland, Patrick M, Dirty South, Parantula, Gravite & Phunk, Cedric Gervais, Tom Sawyer, Willie Morales, Mario Ochoa, Ivano Bellini, Saeed Younan, Ralph Falcon, Oscar G, Edgar V, Donald Glaude, Steven Lee, Exacta, Boris, Rooster & Peralta, Starkillers, Joy Kitikonti, Armand Pena, Dean Coleman, Mario Calegari, Chris Moody, Antoine Clamaran, That Kid Chris, George Morel, Ricardo Del Horno, Eric Entrena, Martin Accorsi, Paco Pil, Austin Leeds, Stephan Luke, Superchumbo, Jonathan Peters, Tom Novy and many more.
B-Mamba has played in cafeteria, Templo, Indra, Amika, La Rumba, Nikki Beach, Karu and Y, Pawnshop, Bricks, Parkwest, Oxygen, Yage, The Mark, Ink Lounge (West Palm Beach) Ambar ( W.P.B) Soho ( South Carolina), Tintos y Tapas, The Womb, Uva Lounge, Feeling’s Café, Tantra, Studio A, Prive, Mansion, Opium Garden, Cameo and more. He did a south American tour on april to july he did Panama (the gallery club), Mexico DF (las vegas club), Colombia Manizales (living club), Cali (centro de eventos del valle), medellin (san jeronimo ravevolution), Cartagena (world beats)
