DISTRUKTIVES

The Distruktives started out in April / May of 2002 with Tyler on drums and Chicken on guitar. Shortly after (more like half a year later) we picked up Chris (a.k.a. The Pirate (OI!)) on vocals and Isidro on bass. The band practiced in the garage for a while and shortly after recorded a demo, which was never released because of the bad vocals. So no more Pirate; The Distruktives are without a singer, again. A few weeks after that Isidro quit so it was back to just Chicken and Tyler. Then we got Jon on bass and Manuel on vocals. Manuel sucked. Hes out. Then was Jon singing and Gus was playing bass. No one really knows for sure what happened with that. Now Rollie from Corrosive Bastards plays bass. We started playin gigs around norwalk and other cities in LA county. We have played with such names as , STREET BRATS, CH3, ISKRA, HOLOKAUST, POGO ATAK, INITIAL THREAT, RAW POWER, CIRIL, LE FACE, CRYSTELLES, just to name a few. Then a big craze swept the backyard scene. And that craze, was the 80s. No gigs for months! But that didnt stop us. We locked ourselves in the garage with enough beer and enough amps to come up with a whole new sound that will change punk rock forever. Mixing the styles of raw punk rock, with metal sounding solos, and a sex pistol attitude, we recorded a shitty ass demo that even we hated. We made about 300 copies and they went pretty quick. Then we recorded a new demo out that sounds pretty damn good. About 400 copies have been made and passed out, and is OUT OF PRESS. After we got that distributed to the public, Rollie stopped showin up to practice without calling us. We didnt like that too much. So now hes gone, and DALE GORE is our bassman. ( for the record, we are still good friends with rollie) This lasted for a good while, wrote alot of new songs, played some fun shows. Then the band split up for unknown reasons. Dale Gore is still playing with INITIAL THREAT, and Chicken just joined I.T. Tyler Silva is a high school pimp and a professional BMX rider. None of us have seen or heard from Jon.
