ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you were deleted from our myspace, please send a request again. Apparently we were hacked and lost quite a few friends. We didn't delete anyone, sorry if anyone took offense. We've gathered back a few people, so just hit us up if you'd like to be added again. Cheers! Now onto the history

Started in 2002 as a 3 piece. Recorded a 5 song demo in 48 hours.

Kev - drums, Jay - bass and vocals, Steve - guitar. Recorded a second 11 song demo in late 2002 / early 2003. Kev went off to Canada. Steve and Jay with nothing else to do recorded by themselves the split 7" with HOLOKAUST (Cries Of Pain Records - US - 2004) and the split 10" with EARTH TODAY (Undislessed Records - France - 2004). By this time Jay had moved to second guitar, and Rob joined on as bassist. A couple months later Tom moved from Connecticut to Philly, and started playing drums to round out the lineup.

In 2004 we recorded the "Grim prospects." LP (Putrid Filth Conspiracy - Sweden - 2005). Played numerous shows in Philly and on the East Coast.Early 2005 would see the recording and self release of the split 7" with ENDLESS NIGHTMARE, as well as Tom's departure from the band. Kev returned from his Canadian adventures and played his first show back with us (after only two practices after a 2 year hiatus) at the 2005 Pointless Fest in Philadelphia, PA. And faster than he arrived, he has once again vanished off in to the wilderness of Kev-Land leaving us drummer-less once more.

In early 2006 Todd joined on drums to round out the hopefully permanent lineup. The self titled 7" for Despotic Records has been recorded and is waiting for release. Work resumes on the second LP.

2007 saw the release of the "3 Years in Hell" collection CD (tracks from the splits with Endless Nightmare/Holokaust/Earth Today, 2002 & 2003 demos, "grim prospects." LP, and one unreleased track). Followed by the "10 days in hell" West Coast tour in support for the "3 years in hell" CD and self titled a.k.a "eye of the storm" 7" ep.

2008 has seen the release of "The Silent Earth" LP finally. Vinyl released by Final Attempt, Sysdumb, and Midnight Sea Records. Following the LP release will be a CD version (Endless Brutality of Men) containing the Silent Earth as well as the tracks from the self titled EP as well as our track from the Doom tribute CD.

and the nightmare is on hiatus until further notice!!!
