There are very few artists out in the music business that can identify with the "Don't judge a book by it's cover" phrase. A respectable, "dirty", talent out of Scotch Plains, NJ with his unorthodox rhyming style, appearance and attitude catches everybody off guard and keeps consistently showing why he is a force to be reckon with in the game of rap and in the culture of hip hop music. There are many duplicates in the world, but there is no comparison to Dirty Mac.



Dirty Macadoscious, was born in Edison, New Jersey in the fall of 1986. Growing up in many different towns in NJ such as Rahway and Linden, The gift to rap was not given to Dirty Mac until the age of 14. Living in a distinct urban area in Elizabeth, After not clearly understanding how the urban lifestyle and rap music worked or what it is all about at the time, Dirty Mac adapted to the lifestyle and eventually ended up discovering a talent towards a certain genera of music in which he first hated. His identity with rap carried on from the urban streets of Elizabeth to the suburban grounds of Scotch Plains in March 2000. Since his move, Dirty Mac has developed his technique of rhyming by listening to not only mainstream artists, but to a lot of other artists that were labeled as being in the "underground" scene of rap music at the time. After showing a lot of stage presence with his ability to be a performer from previous high school events, Dirty Mac has become the most talked about artist in the town of Scotch Plains.



Between the age of 19 and 20, Dirty Mac began getting his name out by showcasing his ability at local Union County College events such as their yearly talent shows and fashion shows. Mac's name didn't really get around in the "underground" circuit until he was introduced to the longest weekly running open mic in New York City since the open mic's inception in 2000, known around the world as "End of the Weak" (E.O.W.) aka "The Mighty E.O.DUB. which is held @ The Pyramid Club in Manhathann, NY



Since going to the EODUB venue, Dirty Mac arose to stardom by displaying a lot of creative songs and spontaneous freestyles at other venues in the Central, New Jersey Area. Venues in the New Brunswick, NJ area such as The Court Tavern, The Ole Bay & JJ's Bar and Grill, The Diva Lounge in Montclair, NJ and The Alphabet Lounge as well as the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, both located in NY. Through the course of time Dirty Mac has made his face not only become a lot more familiar to NJ and NY heads, but to everyone else in TV land as well. Dirty Mac has been seen on the VH1 Hip Hop Honors in 2007 and 2008 as well as BET's 106 & Park in 2008 and 2009.



Dirty Mac's first music release came in 2007 when he released The "Out There" Mixtape. In the summer of 2008, Dirty Mac's debut album entitled "Uncommon Courtesy" entered the music scene. With such tracks like "Ill Scalpel", "NJ Mindframe", "The Bachelor" and "Died In Your Arms", Dirty Mac's debut album gives a better understanding to how versatile, re inventive and well rounded he is.



Dirty Mac's biggest accomplishment to date was in November 2008 where he became the winner of the EOW: MC Challenge of Champions which is a yearly event that have emcees compete in 5 different levels of competition for the chance to represent the United States in the EOW: International MC Challenge. Dirty Mac won a spot in the Challenge of Champions by competing the 39th edition of the EOW: MC Challenge, which led him to be the victor and went on to compete and represent the USA in London, England in the 08-09 EOW: MC Challenge of Champions. After coming back from London, the news broke out about the competition that involved the NJ native was in, to Rutgers Focus Magazine; an online magazine dedicated to the main state school in NJ, Rutgers University. Dirty Mac was featured in the article as an upcoming talent making a "spark" into the "underground" hip hop scene.



Dirty Mac is currently working on a mixtape and his sophomore album which is yet to be titled. There is no date yet as to when the projects will be released, but it is heard that one of the projects will drop sometime in 2010.



In the summer of 2009, Dirty Mac has been added as a member to the rock band "The Body Electric" which also consists of Rick Fuimo, Christopher Shea, Kyle Fitzgerald, Steve Berkowitz and Maxim Kachalov. A small rough EP of the bands work called "The Lost Art" EP was released in the summer of 2009 and new production has begun for their debut album.
