The Story of The DDB:
Born out of chicken wings and diet cherry 7-Up, in a land far away called Ohio, two girls exploded out of the cornucopia known as their mother's juicy fruit. They didn't meet then, oh no, they met later. This sounds very suspicious, and it is. See, because a unicorn once vanquished the red bull, but that has nothing to do with this. Anyway, so amid a squirt of random bands and a chance internet meeting, they hazardized their health by playing songs in order to metabolize happiness. This sounds very scientific, and it is. Because, science is what makes molecules. And Both Katie and Michelle are made of molecules. Is this a coincidence? Maybe.
Their mission, if they had one, was to walk on Jupiter. Then Michelle read an 8th grade science book and found out its mostly made out of gas. As Michelle has a lot of gas, they figured they should just start a band together. It happened. Everything else is too hard to explain.

Songs like "I Live at Home with My Mom," Spaghetti Sex," their Saved By The Bell shout out to "Jesse Spano" and, of course, their personal ballad, "DDB Anthem," testify their funny, crass humor and muted ability to make pop music out of jokes. I imagine that The Breeders' Deal sisters have a pile of b-sides lying around that sound just like this."

After being forced to endure one shitty musical trend after another during the last 10 years--nu metal, rapcore, screamo, and whatever the fuck "emo" is-- discovering The Dirty Damn Band feels like stumbling upon the Fountain of Youth in the middle of Death Valley. THIS is what music is supposed to do--entertain, enlighten and make you feel fucking ALIVE! Together, these two young women craft simple yet unbelievably catchy tunes about pubic hair, your mother's pubic hair, panties, Jesse Spano, "Showgirls" and other impolite dinner conversation topics. The Dirty Damn Band are the most fun you can have with your undies on.

"The Dirty Damn Band straight-up makes my shit want to dance. And they're a three-year favorite in the Northwest Ohio music scene (where I reside) for good reason: their shows are a blast. Also, they're about the only band that I can legitimately say is less mature than me. From Dance or Die!!:
"Shakey tits and floppy dicks, get your ass into the mix. Get your shit out on the dance floor."
