';NOW THE BIOLet it be known, Pre-Daily was born and raised in the Bronx,N.Y. Pre has lived in various locations threwout the Bronx, but she represents the Bronx River area where she lived at during her teenage years.Originally named Pre-sweet after a graffiti artist, later becoming Pre-Daily after another friend nicknamed her Daily because she made hot beats on a daily basis. Although Pre-Daily is a hip hop artist,jazz played a major role in her life.Her father was a jazz musician who owned a few bars in the bronx, one being the Cafe Pepper and Salt on 167th st.she fondly remembers the Thursday night live jam sessions and riding in his car with the radio locked on a jazz station.so, How did Pre get involved in hip hop you ask? Well let's take it back to 1988, when Pre-Daily's career began. During her late teenage years,Pre had a few friends involved in the rap business who were looking for a female dj to roll with them, however,Pre had no interest in being a dj. After one of them wrote her a 3 verse song,Pre fell in love with the mic.sHe eventually crossed paths with a producer,Richard Harrison who made her, her first demo tape. At that point, Pre started writing her own rhymes. and has been ever since. After working with Richard,10,12 songs down the road, this do it yaself chick managed to land a recordinG deal with Zakia 4th and Broadway, home to Eric B and Rakim at that time. Unfortunately,her tie with Zakia was short lived due to mishaps within the company. Pre asked for a release and continued to shop for a new lable until she came upon b-Boy records,home to the Blastmaster KRS,Boogie Down Productions.Pre kept having unsuccessful encounters with independent lables,but she didn't allow her career to experience the same fate.From B-Boy records came a spin off lable called Keyboard Records which would be the lable to release her first sinlge "I'm In Effect" Soon after came the Ron Alexander Show witch she still proforms on till this day. With the help of Ron Alexander Pre had the oppertunity to play the Apollo theater in harlem USA. Although She was successful at the Apollo she didn't find herself leaving with prominate people like Clive Davis.Feeling discouraged she decided to lay her mic down for a few years. She eventually went back to Richard Harrison whom she thought would be there for her dispite thier time apart. This time was a bit different, Pre was no longer 18.and he had been steady in the game, working with yonger artists, 17,18 and felt that Pre had nothing left to offer.As time went on Pre began putting her own stuff together maintaining her reputation as a do it ya self type of chick. Pre returned home where she was supported 200%.Her Boyfriend then and now urged her to continue with her dream.With a four track, a drum machine and an old yamaha keyboard her mom gave her she started recording again. After a few years of making beats and songs in 2001 she decided to take the music to the street.She was welcomed warmly.this multi-talented female ghost writes,  has artists under her,The Ef-Troop,and produces mostly all of her songs.She also designs shirts and paints sneakers.Without a doubt, this do it yaself chick continues to hold it down Daily.
