With Miami serving up some of the hottest product in the rap game, native son Dirtbag stands as one of the most exciting merchants of cool to emerge in years. Dirtbag’s street swagger and authentic style have quickly made believers out of some of the biggest players in the game, from Busta Rhymes and Mystikal, to collaborating with R&B Diva Monica to name a few.



Having lost many things in his life, family & friends, Dirtbag had a sense of urgency about his music. “Basically, I’m as real as they. That's why I can relate more to a lot of cats, cause real recognize real.” Dirtbag says of his appeal, “I don’t just do music for the clubs, I do music for the struggle. I’m just real to myself. Just believing in what I can do. If you have goals, it gives a brotha something to be motivated about.” He says. Letting you know where I’m from and what I’ve seen so you can get something out of it.”



From Special appearances on BET's 106 & Park and MTV2, to being featured in Fat Joe’s “Take Me Home” video, Dirtbag has a diverse resume. He has worked with Timbaland on “Here We Go,” R&B Songstress Monica on “Set It Off” and “I Ain’t Trying To Hear It” just to name a few. But his talent doesn’t stop in the studio. Dirtbag is also working in film as a producer, and plans to one day have a clothing line for females.



“You see it doesn’t matter where you come from, or what you’ve experienced, but its what you’ve learned along the way, that’s take you to the next step” he says with a smile. “I’m not ashamed of my past, I’m thankful that I am still alive and can hopefully one day help the next man in his struggles” That’s what true success is all about.
