Dirk Dreyer, born 1973 in Motorcity Ruesselsheim, close to Frankfurt, is spinning records for almost half of his life. As a 18 year old kid he started his DJ career with his first residency in 1991. Soon he got bookings in many respected clubs in Frankfurt like the legendary Dorian Gray and became one of the first resident djs at well known club U60311.

Dirk is one of the initiators and regular DJs of "House Club Hottest" a weekly show at local radio station Planet Radio. Started in 1999, the program became one of the most heard dj mix shows in Germany. Dreyer has compiled and mixed Vol.2 and Vol. 9 of the according "House Club Hottest" compilation series. In summer 2006 the show has moved to saturday night and is now a six hour dj mix programme named NIGHTWAX.

Having played in clubs all over Germany, Spain, Italy, US, Turkey, Austria etc Dirk moved to Berlin in 2000. Here ran his monthly night called ONE LOUDER at wellknown Sage Club where he played back to back with buddies like Marc Romboy, Stephan Bodzin, Tube & Berger, Tocadisco, Martin Eyerer etc. By the way, Dirk doesnt feel homesick very often as he is playing in his hometown Frankfurt as a resident at the Envy My Music nights at Sven Vaeths Cocoon Club. Right now the first release of the label ONE LOUDER BERLIN is ready to go: Infinito by italian newcomers Elia Casetti Orchestra comes with remixes by Bee-LOW aka Butch, Ante Perry and Dreyer himself

Meanwhile the bunch of Dreyer releases is getting bigger and bigger. Besides releases on Alphabet City and Superfly Recordings under his alter egos One Louder and Full Of Grace and a cooperation with DJ Delicious on his Phunkwerk imprint, he recently launched a lot of remixes. Chab's Ibiza anthem "Closer To me" received the Dreyer treatment aswell as The Source feat Candi Staton "You Got The Love", Santos "Camels", Pacjam "Urban Minds" or Didier Sinclair "Heavenly". Coming up are remixes for Pressure Drop's classic "You're Mine" on Great Stuff, Tom Novy's new smash "My House" on Kosmo, Unity Street's "Say Ho" on Ferry Corsten's Aleph imprint and Volume 6 of the successful Sage Club compilation series.

Dirk Dreyer plays a well balanced variety of current electronic sounds from deep minimal tracks to uplifting house tunes. I play hard deep house and deep hard house for the girls he admits. Expect pumping percussion driven sounds, always inspired by Berlins electro sound: simple and effective.
