I've always got a lot of joy from music and took the curious route for a girl of starting out on a sound engineering course. Though I loved it, it didn't really fill my creative appetite, so after a few years travelling and soul searching I returned to the people and things I know and love best and started to write my own music. I try to have a level of honesty in my music which I hope shines through and I try to use music to get the best out of what can be sometimes quite tragic events. In fact it was the death of a very close friend that made me start having the faith in both myself and music when tough times called upon it. Sunshine - my first song will always be, to me, the very essence of Kate. Bless you Kate- I followed your advice, i so wish you could be here with me right now.
