THE SPIN

In 2003, Shin (guitar) and Ryo (guitar / electronics) get together to form THE SPIN. As Shin formerly played guitar for THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS, he played in their 2004 UK tour and 2005 Download Festival--OZZFEST 10TH ANNIVERSARY--.

In 2005, the “new-wave queen of the new generation” Maru decides to join in as vocalist and the band starts rolling from there.

In 2006, performing in various venues, fashion shows, and club events, the three attract the attention of many around.

In March of 2007, they release their very first EP “NEO WAVES.” Piling on the shows, they go further exploring their unique and one-of-a-kind punk / new-wave style, creating much more than a simple buzz in the scene. Check them out to see what everyone’s talking about…
