In 2007, every Monday, some friends used to gather around a couple of drinks

to let their desires wander.

From these excessive appointments, a band was born : Die on Monday.

Benjamin Rubin (guitarist) initiated the project, he was then

joined by William Brouzes (drummer) and Toni Rizzotti (lead singer).

Vincent Mercier (bassist) completed the band shortly after.

The first songs emerged quickly ( "What you want?" And "I do not belong").

First available to the public via the internet, they witnessed a huge success and

great enthusiasm.

After a dozen shows in France and Belgium, the band started working on

his first album.

For a year, they’ve been adding their influences to their nights.

Black Cat is a rock album that sparkly smack of Soundgarden, Queen of the Stone Age,

Nirvana, Black Sabbath, etc. .

Black Cat was produced by Die on Monday, recorded by Guyom Pavesi and

mixed by Fred Duquesne (guitarist and producer of the bands Empyr and Watcha).

Die on Monday has been allowed into the Abbey Road studio where the album

was mastered by Steve Rooke.

Rough and dirty sounds, heady riffs and energetic melodies mix in this first awaited opus.

The album "Black Cat" will be released on March, 29th in Europe

by the label XIIIbis and distributed by Sony.
