DIEGO ROOTS MUSIC

Diego Roots has been writing music since ' 01, and you've only heard one album, "Good Times". Where did all the music go? We have been recording on our own time, and actually have a 7 song ep "Rise Above " that was recorded in 2000 in a small studio outside of SD. This album captured the true beach feeling of being in SD. This album never was released, but circulated up and down the coast through several hundred burned copies. This album helped Diego Roots establish themselves as one of SD's newest sounds in town. After "Rise Above" came out , Diego Roots was in demand up and down the coast, They Played huge college/House parties and opend up for many big national acts from San Diego State to Hermosa beach,LA, Chico, Humbolt ,Oregan, Arizona and many more. When They Got back they were ready to write new music. So for 3 years they didnt records just played and wrote, then in ' 05 Dago Records came along and realized how much un recorded material DR had and put them in the studio. First 13 songs recorded were called "GOOD TIMES". This album has had a minor release online and through several different record stores all around, but never released nationally yet. As soon as "GOOD TIMES" was done DR was in the studio backed up with unrecorded material just waiting to be exposed to the public. Dago Records decided it was time to record another album , this time a place called "Sushifish recording" which helped to create the perfect atmosphere for DR to record there next album "DYING TO LIVE". The 14 songs on "DYING TO LIVE", coming out '07, were picked out of a number of songs that could have been recorded but will probably end up on the next album!!! Diego Roots is currently entertaining offers and will probably be signed to a major label by summer ' 07!!!! LOOK OUT FOR A NATIONAL RE- RELEASE ON RISE ABOVE as well as " GOOD TIMES" Coming SOON!!!
