DIDJITS
Location:
CHICAGO, Illinois, US
Type:
Artist / Band / Musician
.Featuring the suavest dressed man in Champaign, Illinois. Rick Didjit is
at the helm in a freshly pressed suit with his larger than life face
contorted into a hideous grin. The rhythm section comprises DIDJITS
veteran Doug Evans with his goatee and baseball cap on bass. Todd Cole
replaced Rey Washam (ex-Rapeman, Scratch Acid) on drums.
Todd won his spurs in true mid-west white trash fashion. That he could
fill the drum stool in terms of his ability to rock was never really in
doubt, however, the invitation to become a DIDJIT only came after he was
witnessed delivering a good old fashioned ass kicking to a couple of
"suits" in the local bar. It seems that one of them was overheard
commenting on the length of Todd's hair and unfortunately, for him, added
the term "freak."
The DIDJITS released their first LP on Touch & GO in 1989 and stayed
with the Chicago based until they broke up in '94.
Todd Cole - drums
Doug Evans - bass
Rick Didjit - guitar/vocals
