Diamond Cut Ent.

Born in Concord “Concity” North Carolina, to Johnnie Lee Thompson and Milton Lynch Sr. back in 1982; yes I’m a true 80's baby, but shortly after school grade school my life shifted dramatically. I went from the calm extra laid back streets of concord and Charlotte, as they were back then, to the highly violent street s of Oakland California.

Here i saw and experienced just about everything the streets had to offer. On the other side, with my father and his family being so enriched into the music scene, I was able to watch and learn from such music heavy weights as Ant Banks, Too Short, DJ Pooh, Toni Tony Tone, En Vogue, Mc Hammer, Digital Underground, and many more. Being able to watch these people come from the streets and make it to the top is what made me want to get in to the music business side of things. My true attraction came from a blind man and close friend to my father named Joe Capers.

Joe was the owner of the studio all these acts worked out of, this man could hear a distortion or feedback from a microphone and knew exactly which fader or track it was coming from. He knew a mixing console like the back of his hand. I always wanted to be as good as he was, even till this day i spend countless days and an nights working behind the boards and the papers trying to get a product i felt and know is good enough to represent NC.

In doing so i have worked and recorded various artist around the Charlotte area, and beyond. Forming a fee companies until I ended up with my Diamond Cut Marketing, this also served as my Dj name. But after times and times in studios and different groups, I formed Sound Lab, a new fresh company with the skills knowledge and music too make our listeners happy and move ur sorrows to another time.

That’s our goal and mission, to spread a smile to everyone through our music, and still leave a serious word in your ear.
