Devin Louis Watkins, now age 20 had been playing keyboards since the Age of 5. Growing up in Oakland, CA, Devin Developed a Love for music at the age of 2. Being around, and Listening to the soulful sounds of his uncle James Mitchell playing the Organ at his Church Home Greater Mingleton Temple COGIC, He Developed the ability to play keyboards at an early age. His father being a song writer, singer, and musician, Devin Started producing and writing songs at the age of 8. Later in life, Devin Became The Organist of Mingleton Temple at the age of 11 due to his uncle James Mitchell Relocating to Texas. Devins playing florished and matured, and by that happening, he became a musician for the Edwin and Walter Hawkins Bay Area Chapter Choir at the Age of 13. At this age, Devin played behind numerous artists such as Ted and Sheri, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Edwin Hawkins, Lanette Hawkins-Stephens, and Keith Tribbett. Now Devin has played behind and for more artists such as Walter Hawkins, Edwin Hawkins, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Twinkie Clark, Jackie Clark, Kierra Sheard, Rance Allen, Tonex, Marvin Sapp, DeVaughn Murphy, Beverly Crawford and more. Devin has also worked with Josiah "Jojo" Martin of Jojo's Voice Productions, Sam Bostic, his Godbrother Rodney Evans, and Played with such musicians as the great Carl Wheeler aka "The Rev", David Blakely, Joel Smith, Johnathan Dubose, David Jackson, Jerry Jordan, Eric Smith, Derrick Hall, Marcus Phillips, Stephan "Spider" Dubose, James "Booyah" Richard, Justin Brown, Thomas MCcree, and many more. Devin has played different genres of music such as Gospel(Josple!! Joke between Devin and Jojo martin) Jazz, R&B, Soul, Funk, Pop, and Country. He is currently Music Director for The Soul Supreme Sam Bostic.
