Deverra

BIOGRAPHYDeverra is a metal/hardcore 5 piece outfit emerging from Portland, Oregon in 2006.
Like most bands, Deverra has had the pleasure of tasting adversity and attrition; living off a steady diet of growing pains. The band's roster has changed several times in the several years they've been together.
Deverra's first musical offering came in the form of the Origins (rel. 2008). The six song EP was engineered and produced by Chris Finster of Geomana Studios and mastered by SuperDigital. The short album garnered quick praise, sold out a limitted number of copies, and featured songs like "Darkened Day"; a metalcore anthemic piece showcasing the bands proclivity for quick breakdowns and 80's hairband soloing.
Deverra began recording a 2nd EP with Chris Finster in the fall of 2008. Drums and guitars were tracked, but with the loss of front man Sean Christina and Joey Parker the 2nd EP never came to fruition.
Deverra surged onward with Bob Thomas of Vintegaas handling guitar lead duties.
When the dust settled in 2010, Deverra was rendered heavier than ever with a more focused post-hardcore sound. The band has traded in drop C for drop A with each new song an investigation into the depths of brutality and heartfelt melody.
