Desperation is a Belgian rock/metal band formed in 97' and was ready for battle in 99'.
The musical influences are coming from each of the members variable from hard rock to metal, which resulted in a sound of their own. The Band decided to record a cd-demo in the Midas studio at Lokeren in co-operation with producer Tony de Block. The demo was called "THE FIRST BATTLE". In April 2004 the band gave their first cd presentation and it was a major success,also the following gigs where great.After 4 months the band sold more than 250 demo's, an due to the huge request they had to reprint another 500 demo's in 2006, meanwhile they sold more than 800 albums.
Desperation has a powerful live reputation and has build up a fan base that follows the band everywhere they go.



Some Highlights: Desperation played a.o at Ragnarock with Virgin Steel as headliner.
As support of Wednesday 13 at M.O.D Hasselt, as support of Blaze(ex iron maiden) in the Ten Weyngaert Brussels, with Tankard at Kleudde fest, with Sacred Oath(USA) at Laakdal.



Also in other countries Desperation was very appreciated a.o. at Up The Hammers Fest (Athens, Greece). Sword brothers Fest(Germany) and in the local club circuit in the region Frankfurt.
