I Desmodromica nascono nel 1999. Fin dall'inizio si propongono di fare Rock pestato alla
californiana con testi in italiano e un amore per la contaminazione con i generi musicali più disparati. Il risultato è un rock compatto e originale, capace di toccare sia potenza distorta che momenti più intimi e riflessivi.
Questa miscela ha permesso ai Desmodromica di suscitare interesse da subito, già dal
primo concerto nell'ambito di un importante concorso locale (BarbaranoRock'99) si sono
piazzati al primo posto con l'elogio della giuria e della critica giornalistica.
Seguono poi parecchi concerti in giro per il Veneto (locali, concorsi, festival, motoraduni, manifestazioni.), tra gli altri hanno aperto ai Bluvertigo, agli YoYoMundi , ., suonato allo 00Fest, all'Isolon,al Pedro di Padova, al Rivolta di Marghera, Interzona di Verona, e si sono spinti fino al sud della penisola(LaosFest,Cosenza,Roma.)
Nel 2003 realizzano il loro primo CD omonimo registrato agli UMBI Studios di Canaro (RO) con Polly D'Ambrosio in veste di produttore artistico e Marco Biscuola al mixer (Silvestri, Alexia,Zucchero.).
Da questo lavoro è stato estratto il primo singolo Amore e Psyche che gira per le radio, ed in seguito il secondo singolo Calma e realizzano un CD compilation seguito alle selezioni del concorso EstateRock2003 Verona dove conquistano un ottimo terzo posto,
ma soprattutto i Desmodromica vengono selezionati per partecipare ad una compilation nazionale curata dalla Kiu Records di Pennabilli (ottimismo?); in questo paese appenninico avvengono le registrazioni curate da Franco Fucili, nonchè un illuminante incontro con Tonino Guerra che elargisce un'inaspettata e lusinghiera consulenza artistica.
Tale compilation è uscita nell'aprile 2005 abbinata al mensile Rumore e distribuita nell'intero territorio italiano in più di ventimila copie.
Nel 2006 arriva al basso Federico Ceccato con cui i Desmodromica iniziano un percorso musicale meno metallico e più originale pescando direttamente dalle budella dei critici musicali che, sbigottiti dall'ennesima esuberanza si dividono in 2 schiere: ce chi li approva e li ama alla follia e ci sono quelli che li ripudiano o non approvano.
Tra le ultime un secondo posto al VeronaRock 2006. Critica e pubblico entusiasti, segnaliamo anche il solito strascico di polemiche del tipo: ma che cazzo fanno questi?
Nell'agosto 2006 tornano in studio (acousticStudio, Vedelago - TV-) per registare D.I., pezzo che ben rappresenta il nuovo filone raffinato, schizzato e ironico dei DesmoDromica a cui farà presto seguito il nuovo CD previsto per l'autunno 2007.

Desmodromica were born in 1999. From the beginning they set themselves to do hammered Rock in the Californian way with words in Italian language and a love for the contamination with the most disparate musical genres.
The result is a compact and original rock, able to reach both distorted power and more intimate and thoughtful moments. This mix allowed Desmodromica to kindle interest from the very beginning, on the occasion of the first concert during an important local contest (BarbaranoRock’99) they obtained the first place with the jury and the journalistic criticism’s praise.
Then have followed many concerts around Veneto (clubs, contests, festivals, motorcycle rallies, events…) among other things they opened to Bluvertigo, YoYoMundi, moreover, they played at 00Fest, at Isolon, at Pedro in Padua, at Rivolta in Marghera, at Interzona in Verona, and they pushed themselves as far as the south of the peninsula (LaosFest, Cosenza, Roma…). In 2003 they realized their first homonymous CD recorded in the UMBI Studios of Canaro (RO) with Polly D’Ambrosio as artistic producer and Marco Biscuola at the mixer (Silvestri, Alexia, Zucchero). From this first work was extracted the first single Amore e Psyche that is transmitted on the radio, and then the second single Calma and they realize a CD compilation after the selections for the competition EstateRock2003 Verona where they obtain an excellent third place, but most of all Desmodromica were selected to take part to a national compilation treated by Kiu Records of Pennabilli (optimism?); in this Apennine country take place the records treated by Franco Fucili, as well as an enlightening meeting with Tonino Guerra, who lavishes an unexpected and flattering artistic consulting. This compilation appeared in April 2005 together with the monthly magazine Rumore and it was distributed in the whole Italian territory in more than 20000 copies. In 2006 comes to the bass Federico Ceccato, with whom Desmodromica start a less metallic and more original musical trip, fishing directly from the bowels of the music critics who, astonished by the umpteenth exuberance they split up themselves into two groups: there are those who approve them and madly love them and those who repudiate or don’t approve them. Among the last a second place at VeronaRock 2006. Critic and public enthusiastic, we’ll report also the usual after-effects of polemics such as: what the fuck are these doing? In August 2006 they come back to the studio (acousticStudio, Vedelago – TV) to record D.I., piece which well represents Desmodromica’s new current, more refined, weird and ironic, which will be soon followed by the new CD expected for Autumn 2007.
