miss veronika

Miss Veronika has met electronic music when she was young with the band Depeche mode. She supported them for many years and saw them several times performing on stage covering hundreds of kilometers. Later, she devoted herself to her rock band producting and writing the songs. In 1995, she finally went back to her first loves and exchanged her guitar for decks. Nevertheless, its in live, mixing, that she performed for the first time in front of an audience. Besides, she released 2 tracks under the name of Miss Veronika, on the Requiem label. Thanks to her collective Esoterik Eskort, she performed more and more parties and organized hundreds of events all over the Lorraine region.Veronika played for the first time in front of an audience of more than 1000 persons. She was resident in 3 bars in Metz and travelled through France, Belgium, Switzerland, Algeria and even Serbia to play techno influenced by new wave, electronic body music . In 2003, thanks to that kind of special music style, she got to be finalist in Berlin in the feminine djs contest "Paris-Berlin". She also composed songs in Melodie Maker, a duet with dacom@. They released a first maxi EP on the Neverland label which Veronika is managing and will sign on a next label : Elektrofon (Nomenklatur, David carretta, Millimitric, Franck Kartell.) Miss Veronika released a mixed CD "my sweet selection" on the Utopia label which you can find in any FNAC in France and independant stores. Her second mixed CD "Backstage" have been released to on Tekita production records/LaBaleine.
In 2009 She has released a new EP : " In a world gone fucked E.P" out on HELVET UNDERGROUND records .One of these tracks has been remixed by Ruben Montesco, this track has been played on the compilation " Electronic Manifesto 4, on the french label M-Tronic who has released innovative and intelligent releases.
