Desert Planet is a game pop group that has been making old school video games influenced electro-pop-space-punk-bling!-blong! -music since year 2000. The music is a crazy mix of coin-operated video games sound effects, chip music, video game tunes, cheap synths, toy disco and alternative rock. The group has three members; a couple of musicians Jari and Jukka and one VJ, Antti. The live shows are something between electronic-laptop-live-act and science fiction space-punk-performance. The group is located in Lapland, Finland (Sodankylä and Rovaniemi). The currrent record publisher is 9PM-Records in Germany. Stupido Records is our publisher in Finland.
