Spring, 2005. An animated talk took place concerning the Stooges between Arthur Brossard, Mathieu Leroy, Mike Galland and Arnaud Boitel. From theory to practise, a first rehearsal shows them respectively playing songs accompanied with a guitar, guitars, percussion, bass and choirs. After listening to them, we can easily recognize those same old Stooges, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.



The quartet used to go in Atla School in the 18th district of Paris. After having practised during long sessions of improvisation, their identity started to take shape and the idea of a band was born without having seen it coming or having discussed it. This harmony between the 4 boys enables the natural emergence of original and proper compositions to come up, compositions that are made with the same energy usually shown by rock models.



“Dentelles Nerveuses” makes its first steps on the New Morning scene in Paris in September 2005. From then on, concerts in bars in Paris and its area keep flashing by and are starting to make a name for themselves. Soon after, on having heard the recording of a concert they had been giving on the Bastille scene, the concert hall Le Reservoir lets them play during the first part of the band Catleya’s concert (Sony / BMG). Playing on live is one of the band’s strong point and concert dates in Paris and its area keep coming one after the other with bands such as The Elektrocution (overcome), Los Chicros, Sentenza, Stuck In the Sound…



“Dentelles Nerveuses” has recorded a demo disk last year composed of 6 titles at the Studio Rachel in Paris. They are now recording 4 news. Between MC5 and Queens of the Stone Age, the band has in mind to keep on its training of playing on live, and to give all its sonorousness to this bluesy, stoner, nervous rock, impregnated with melodies of the 70s finally known to be intemporal.
