Denial

Inspired by 90’s Death Metal, formed in 2006 with the urge to create dark and pure Metal of Death. With former band members from some of the finest Mexican acts such as Oscar Clorio, drummer from the legendary band CENOTAPH (also drummer in SHUB NIGGURATH at the last recording), Marko Guevara the bass player and vocalist from PULVERIZED (playing guitar in DENIAL) and Ivan “Bloodhunter” ex-vocalist for UMS and DEW OF NOTHING.
In 2007 DENIAL recruited a new lead guitarist, Roberto Granados. The 7” EP called Immense Carnage Vortex with the collaboration of Luis Ramos on the bass, which was launched through Swedish Death Metal cult label BLOOD HARVEST RECS.
In 2008 the band entered studio again for the recording of their first full length album "CATACOMBS OF THE GROTESQUE", mastered by Death Metal legend Dan Swano, with the colaboration of now returned, original bass player Ricardo Gil. The album was released by Asphyxiate Recordings on jewel case CD and limited editon digiwallet CD and has now become one of the greatest released Death Metal albums within Mexican lands. Asphyxiate Recordings officially licenced the album for vinyl and was released by Blood Harvest Records. The band now begin the process of writing and recording the follow up album to be released on Asphyxiate Recordings. Primal dark death metal from the abyss!
