The owner of Cherry Dene Studios, Brian Demby has worked as a record producer and recording and mix engineer for the past seven years. He has lent his talents to various artists across different music genres, including Konvict/Interscope artist Ya Boy, singer Aaron Carter and reality TV stars Tila Tequila and John Brown. Brian Demby worked closely with Ya Boy for 12 months as his personal in-house recording and mix engineer, largely contributing to the body of work that helped Ya Boy land a record deal with Konvict/Interscope Records.
Brian Demby's work has been featured in major print and online publications, including Rolling Stone and The Source magazines, AllHipHop.com and WorldStarHipHop.com. His work also has received air time on major radio stations, including Los Angeles' Power 106 and Miami's Power 96. The videos for songs he contributed to have gone viral, racking up more than 8 million internet views.
A versatile industry professional, Demby enjoys exploring all forms of music used for a variety of purposes. Recently, he recorded, mixed and co-produced a soundtrack for Om Shalom Yoga, which offers Vinyasa flow yoga classes that celebrate Jewish prayer.
A Southern California native, Demby resides in Malibu where he operates his studio. He enjoys hiking, yoga and going on walks with his golden retriever Griffin.
