The Peruvian group Deimos was born in 1995 of a simple

musical idea that between several friends it went more and more returning

professional and evolved. The band only played covers in its beginnings, but in

the later Deimos it began to work in its own songs which left the influences of

Synthpop and New Wave very noticeable. Groups like Blancmange, Alphaville,

SoftCell and Depeche Mode were important part in the musical consolidation that

the band acquired with happening of the years.In the year 2002, Deimos publishes their debut Album called "Azul, Gris" with 12 tracks compiled since 1992. In 2003 the EP called "Azul Mix" comes out with 6 remixes of the most popular songs from their debut album, this CD was given as a gift to their fans. It was along these years that the band performed side by side with some of the most representative bands of the new wave and electronic scene, Melotron, Camouflage and Elegant Machinery. Also shared the stage with famous south american electronica bands. by the end of 2007 Deimos looses their lead singer due to personal reasons. the band took some time off until july 2008 with a new lead vocal: Enrique Huerta. Currently Jose, Julio and Enrique are working in the 2nd Album, which they said will still be loyal to classic Deimos style.
