Deepset

Self proclaimed…and seldom disputed “The Hardest Partying Band in the Land”… Deepset never disappoints with it’s hard hitting, drop your jaws and drawers show, or their legendary after parties. Formed in 2004, DEEPSET has gained the reputation as South Florida’s premier rock band by consistently overwhelming fans with musicianship, style, stage presence and attitude hard to find in today’s scene.



Feasting on the smoldering ruins, and carrying on the “traditions” of the classic masters such as Led Zeppelin, The Who, and Black Sabbath (to name a few) yet focusing on the tenacity, edge and sound of modern bands such as Shinedown, Dropbox, and Wolfmother, Deepset is a raw and damn well needed blend of classic and modern rock style and attitude.



Deepset is the Florida winner of Sammy Hagar’s 2005 “Shot at Cabo Wabo”, beating out 1000’s of bands and playing at Sammy’s birthday show in Mexico. Deepset also recently gained international attention when Rick and Dave we’re recruited by Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden for a tour of North America in a project called McBrain Damage.

Guitar - Rick Baum, AKA “Moby Rick” (referring to a certain white whale in his trousers) Rick has the rare ability to combine a metal edge with smooth melodies and brings showmanship back to the role of lead guitar.



Bass - Dave Spitz, AKA “The Beast” (due to his ability to kill people with less then 4 notes on his bass) Dave needs no introduction as one of metal music's premier players. once gracing the ranks of bands such as Black Sabbath and White Lion.



Drums - Marcus Suarez, AKA “Quato” (yes…he is the mutant alien from Total Recall) Marcus is a thundering presence behind the kit and has the skill to get the ladies up dancing or make them run screaming.
