Deathstar Preview

BOY/GIRL are a duo from London comprising of Terrence Martin (Vox and Guitars) and Caroline Scott (Drums, Back Vox).
The 2 came together in the summer of 2009 after Terrence was on the hunt for a versatile drummer. By chance he met Caroline at a Jazz Club in Soho where she was playing as a session musician. It was apparent by her style and demeanour that her taste in music ventured beyond the trappings of a session musician. After a short chat they decided to get together, hire a practice room and just "see what happens". From that jam session BOY/GIRL was born.
The pair decided to forgo the usual route of recruiting more band members and decided to focus on an act that centered on them. The music began flowing and by drawing on influences from the late 70's post punk scene to modern day indie they tailored their own sound. The music is punctuated by strong guitar hooks, propelling drums, infectious melodies and a cheeky side serving of synthesizers. They are a young band but with such a dynamic and passion for their craft they should definitely be on your radar.
