Dean Welch & The Rhythm Method started as a way for friends to hold on to what they loved.
The guys met while going to college in Chicago, and they wanted to make music influenced by their blues and rock idols. This set them apart from the acoustic, college-rock bands that ran on the Chicago bar circuit, and they became known among friends for their crowded and crazy live shows.
In late 2010, like many college grads, they found their day jobs taking up more time than their dreams; and in efforts to reclaim the opportunity to do what they love with the friends that they love, the band penned Soul Piece EP. They will be touring to support its release in July 2011.
