Deadly Influence

Deadly Influence was formed in January of 2006 with the founders Ryan Yazzie and Denis Galimov. With an idea to break the mold of the current metal sound of Hawaii, the two of them decided to create something new and unique. With influence from bands ranging from death metal to hardcore, Deadly Influence brought Hawaii something it has never seen or heard before. After a slow rough start and several band member changes, the band has reached its current lineup with guitarist/vocalist Denis Galimov, guitarist Carlos Murga, bassist Jehrad Lamb, and Drummer Ryan Yazzie. With each member bringing his own style to the group, it wasn’t hard for them to produce the sound of Deadly Influence. Their sound is very technical and dynamic which consists of harmonized melodies, heavy riffs and solos over a solid rhythm provided by an array of double bass and constant drum changes and a driving bass line. Since the dawning of the current Deadly Influence, they have received constant support from the well-established Hawaii based thrash metal band 8mm Overdose. With their help Deadly Influence has been given opportunities to open for bands from the mainland, play shows on the Big Island of Hawaii, and keep a solid schedule of shows including Hawaii’s well known Metalfest. At this point Deadly Influence is ready to broaden their horizons to a larger audience and help expand the metal scene.
