Born and Raised in Mobile, AL. Dcyple showed his musical brilliance early, playing 8 insruments by age twelve. He currently plays 17. ""Music was a way to forget about my reality someimes. As a kid, I was rebellious and I'll be the first to admit that I still am, to a point. I don't see things the way most people do. No one ever became great by being like everyone else. I think the way to immortality is through your words, actions and ideas. THAT'S how you live forever. Dr. King will never die. Malcolm X will never die. Tupac and BiggieNEVER DIE. So while a lot of people were living life day to day, I made up my mind a loooong time ago that I didn't want to die." This was evident as he started his first non-profit organization in the 10th grade, Sigma Phi Nu, and it's still a strong contributor to the community today.



That is not to say that the artist has a squeaky clean image. He is a member of the ever contraversial Goon Sqwad in Detroit, MI who's been a number of alledged altercations with other artists including, Trick Daddy, Styles P, Irv Gotti, and most recently, Yung Berg. The Organization is headed by Gangsta rapper Trick Trick who made headlines after Yung Berg was allegedly assaulted and relieved of his chain amongst other items by the group " Asked of his ties to Goon Sqwad, Dcyple responds,"That's my family. Trick Trick is more than a friend to me. That's my brother. So is Diezel and Dj Thrilla. We're not blood related, but might as well be. I do have a biological brother, King Shi, who is my best friend. I was blessed to have a close family.""



Dcyple has worked with major and minor acts alike. His song with Roc-a-fella's Freeway has been in rotation on many networks and continues to thrive in the underground and commercial network. He just released a video featuring Trick Trick and Diezel the Hittman which is recieving a lot of attention. Known for being unpreictale, we can only guess what his next move will be. He's promised it will be big.
